Some people like to do warm-up drawings.  This is a cool-down drawing.  After drawing three pages of the 3rd Glorkian Warrior novel I was too tired to draw a fourth, but still had a little energy so I used it to draw this super-guy.
(I also slightly tweaked my regular style, because my mind is on the prowl looking for a new way to draw.  It might not look different to you, but it feels different to me.)

This comic appeared in the Seven Days 2nd annual Cartoon Issue. This is a huge milestone and honor for me. I have about 1,000 copies in my closet. I also was very disgruntled when -attempting to send them to my family and friends- I couldn’t find a mailer big enough at the post office. Then I met James Kochalka in line so I didn’t care anymore.

Yup, I met Rachel in line at the post office. I could tell she was a cartoonist just by looking at her, so I struck up a conversation.

Here’s a drawing I did of james Kochalka a while back. I never posted it on my site, so I thought I would share it on the new site… you know… as a way of keeping the site fresh.

Some more American Elf “fan art”.

I think this is proof of my profound impact on our culture.

A college kid commissioned me to draw this for his school’s radio station back in 2007.  I’m not sure if I ever got paid, but I don’t think so.  So… here it is, tumblr!  Go download my awesome album.

Perhaps wearing the new Elf Cat t-shirt will boost your confidence!  (See also, episode one.)

It’s the Green Turtle!  My version of the first Asian-American superhero, drawn in honor of Gene Luen Yang and Sonny Liew’s new book, The Shadow Hero.
