This week’s exercise from Ivan Brunetti’s Cartooning: Philosophy and Practice is about style. The first part is to redraw a panel from a favourite cartoonist in the style of a least favourite cartoonist.
Here I’ve tried to redraw a panel from James Kochalka’s The Hulk vs. the Rain in something like Daniel Clowes’ style in Ghost World.
My mailman commissioned drawing of Batman. (I did it in trade for tickets to see Chelsea Light Moving). I just threw my own character Grotus in there for kicks. (See Grotus in the SuperF*ckers cartoon).
