You’re making me blush!
superf-ckers:

And then, there was good ol’ James Kochalka.
Where can we start about how awesome this cat is? James is a legend in the comics industry, and he’s probably best known for his daily biographical comic “American Elf”. He’s also the man behind the kid’s comics series about Johnny Boo, as well as “Dragon Puncher” and “Dragon Puncher Island” (for which he won an Eisner Award at this year’s Comic Con San Diego.
James certainly spiked our radar when our head of development, Eric Homan, came across his four book series SuperF*ckers. We knew we’d struck gold! We worked with James quite a bit pitching SuperF*ckers as both a television series and feature film.
Thankfully, we came up with an even better result - doing it ourselves on YouTube!
We’ve been working with James full time on the series for about 6-9 months now and every second has been a BLAST. James continually amazes us with his creativity, hilarity, and intense dedication to his work.
You’ll be hearing a lot more about James in the coming weeks, but in the mean time, check out these cool behind the scenes videos he’s done about the show, as well as his appearance on Co-Op Stories.
Make sure to leave James some questions in our ask box and don’t forget to follow him on Tumblr for even more Kochalka in your life!
