Chainsaw Guy (a guy I know from the message boards on my old comic strip American Elf) finally met me in person at the Stumptown Comics Festival, and then drew a strip about it.
American Elf affected people’s lives in ways I will never know. Here, Matthew Jent writes about how the strip caused him to move to Vermont.
Yesterday was Free Cone Day again. I got Butter Pecan, Eli got Chunky Monkey, and Oliver got Candy Bar Pie. Candy Bar Pie was freeeeking awesome, by the way. We shared.
It was a damn good day, in fact.
You know… I could probably spend the next 14+ years just reblogging old American Elf strips. I covered just about everything.

Against all odds I just posted something new on American Elf. It’s an autobio choose-your-path adventure comic. Or more accurately, it’s a choose-MY-path adventure.
Since american elf has ended, i am most upset that i dont know what spandy is doing. And that i wont know when she dies. Can you just let me know when she dies so i can mourn appropriatly?
My fantasy has always been to have a public funeral for Spandy when she dies and invite fans from all over the world to attend. But that might be too much…
