Elf Cat episode 12.  And this brings the first chapter of Elf Cat to a close.

Honestly, serializing this strip on tumblr has been kinda weird feeling.  I can’t help but notice that except for the first couple of episodes, it really doesn’t get very many “hearts”.  I know I shouldn’t care how many hearts my strip gets… but tumblr is kinda geared to make you care.

On the other hand, I really love wearing my Elf Cat shirt.

Fluffy Cat.  No  reason.

Sweet Spandy, we love you.

Sweet Spandy, we love you.

I’ll have 9 new paintings in the Giant Robot post-it note show opening December 7.  This is the cheapest way to start an art collection!  (Also, I think this is the sixth or maybe seventh art show I’ve had this year!  Holy cow!)

meeeeeshel:

went to The Vault Art Gallery in Springfield, VT after work today and bought this awesome James Kochalka painting!

Awesome!
If you live near Springfield, VT… head over to The Vault and you can buy a super cool Kochalka painting too!  They make excellent Christmas gifts, and I priced them extra low as a special for my childhood hometown.  (The show is up through Christmas, but they’ll let you take the painting early if you ask!)

Here’s painting I did in 2001 of a cat and a monkey.  Obviously the monkey is one of the monkeys from Monkey Vs Robot… and the cat looks like a simplified version of Spandy.
I can’t remember who owns it.  I wonder if they framed it, I wonder if it’s on display.
I hope all my sold paintings are on people’s walls.  I’d like to think of my paintings existing with vibrancy as a part of someone’s life.
