Here’s my cat Spandy, asleep on my drawing table, 19 years old. Surrounded by stuff I’m working on. You can see a finished page of the Fungus comic strip I’m drawing for my local weekly paper, a penciled page of that, and a Fungus rough draft. Kinda hidden in the lower right you can see a rough draft of a page for the second Glorkian Warrior graphic novel.

FUNGUS #1 contains two stories. Rotten Little Cuties is about a couple of cool mushroom dudes looking for an awesome party they heard about, and arguing about god. (I did extensive field research in the vernal pools of maine for this. Really! See American Elf April 17 - 20, 2011). Facebook is about two mounds of moss that say they invented Facebook but don’t seem to really understand what it even is. I love this book.
The front & back covers are in 3D, if you happen to own some 3D glasses. (I took the background photo using the 3D camera on the Nintendo 3DS.)

Two mushroom guys.
They’re from my up-coming video game, Glorkian Warrior. They’re also stars of a comic book I wrote called FUNGUS.
This little mushroom dude is one of the pixel-enemies you’ll encounter when you enter a Glork-hole in the Glorkian Warrior games we’re making.
