The more you look at this picture the stranger it is. Nothing special about the content, but just the quality of the photo itself is bizarre… the way the 3 ducks blend and morph with the rocks on the beach.  Sometimes I wonder if anything in the universe is real.

A polaroid I took while on Monhegan Island in Maine.  I was trying to capture the stripes of color that I saw, knowing that the quirkiness of the Impossible Project polaroid film would mean that the photo would differ greatly from what I actually saw in front of me.  But that’s true with any photo, really, isn’t it?
