The guy I wrote about in this old episode of American Elf wrote a story about what it meant to him to appear in the strip. And to him I say… Thank you so much for being a part of my giant crazy project in your own small way. (Strip cut out from our local paper, Seven Days.)
For the last decade my comic strip American Elf has run in my local weekly paper, Seven Days. I drew it as a daily, and picked three strips each week to use in the newspaper. Now of course, American Elf has ended. I quit drawing it on December 31 but the last strip appeared in the paper this week, actually. If the strip meant something to you over the years, why not write a letter to editor, expressing yourself! Thanks.

This is the first interview I’ve done about quitting American Elf… in my hometown paper, Seven Days. Oh, and they mentioned SuperF*ckers! You know the world is coming to an end when they mention SuperF*ckers in the newspaper.
